The University Institute for Migration Studies of the Comillas Pontifical University of Madrid will organize the upcoming 2010 International Scribani Conference on the topic of European Migration and Asylum policies: Coherence or Contradiction? – An Interdisciplinary Evaluation of the EU Summits of Tampere (1999), The Hague (2004) and Stockholm (2009), 8-10 September 2010, Madrid, Spain.

The deadline for submission of applications (an outline of your proposed paper of minimum 1 page - maximum 2 pages, in English) is set for December 1st 2009. Candidates should send in the completed application form (see enclosed documentation), accompanied by a curriculum vitae. The selection of participants is planned for January - February 2010, the outcome of which will be communicated by the end of February 2010. The completed application form and other required application documents must be submitted to the University Institute for Migrations Studies Selection Committee not later than December 1st 2009, by e-mail to scribaniconference@iem.upcomillas.es or by fax to (+ 34) 91 541 18 60, or by mail addressed to :
