Information regarding technical assistance

There are 3 ways in which we offer technical assistance to conference participants joining online.

1. First, before the conference starts, we will organize a special Drop-In Session on Monday, 27th of June 2022, between 15:00-16:30 CEST, to allow participants joining online to test the Webex functionalities prior to the conference, if they wish. 2. Secondly, for each session, there will be an on-site assistant who may be able to help online participants with some technical issues. If you joined a session on Webex and you experience some technical difficulties (e.g. you do not know how to share the screen when presenting, how to turn off/on your video/microphone, etc.), you can contact the on-site assistant via the "Unmute" or the “Chat” function of that session. The on-site assistant may be able to help or redirect you to the Online Support Centre (point 3 below). 

3. Thirdly, and very importantly, throughout the whole duration of the conference, a special Online Support Centre will give assistance to all participants joining via Webex. You can contact the Online Support Centre in different ways, depending also on the technical issue you experience:

Scenario 1 (for log in issues): if you don’t manage to log in into your IMISCOE profile on the conference platform OR if, after logging in, you do not see the details of your session OR you do not see the Webex link for joining the session, please contact: Marco Legemaate at This email address is being protected from spambots. Scenario 2 (for Webex-related issues): if after having logged in into your IMISCOE profile on the conference platform AND after having found the Webex link to join your session, you experience any technical difficulties in entering the Webex room or in the use of any Webex functionality once you entered the Webex room, you can either:

  • Call our Online Support Centre at either of the following phone numbers: +32 (0)4 366 46 80 or + 32 (0)4 366 37 71 (available during the conference days between 8:30-17:30 CEST)
  • Speak or chat directly with our Online Support Centre via Webex, at either of the following 2 links per day (available during the conference days between 8:30-17:30 CEST):
