Tesseltje de Lange is assistant professor and lectures in European migration and comparative administrative law at the University of Amsterdam. She is also vice-chair of the Dutch Advisory Committee on Migration Affairs, advising the Dutch government on migration law and policy. Her research projects focus on policies welcoming talented migrants, such as admission of entrepreneurs and skilled migrants and labour market policies for refugges as well as on the administrative sanctions in migration law, such as employer sanctions. Prior to her academic career Tesseltje worked as an immigration lawyer and district court judge in immigration cases.
