I am a historian of European Integration and of Immigration to Europe since 1945. A Research Fellow at the Department of Contemporary History of the Vienna School of International Studies, I was previously a lecturer at the Department of History of the University of California, Berkeley (2016-2017) and Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute (2014-2016). I graduated at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris (2007) and earned my PhD at Sorbonne University (2014). My book, The History of the European Migration Regime (Routledge, 2018), explores the origins of the international migration regime that has prevailed within the European Union since the 1990s.
