REMESO launches new International Master program in migration and ethnic studies

Addressing some of the most challenging issues in today’s world, this new programme relates ethnicity and migration to global economic and cultural change, as well as to systems of domination and movements of resistance. You learn to analyse the causes of migration, as well as its consequences for emerging formations of race, gender, labour, citizenship, healthcare, welfare and culture.

The programme welcomes students of different academic backgrounds to develop a critical and transdisciplinary understanding of ethnicity and migration, integrating the humanities and the social sciences. It is set in an international community of students and faculty with numerous visiting researchers and academic activities.

By providing a unique curriculum that enables a comprehensive grasp of the field of Ethnic and Migration Studies as well as in depth specialisation through, for example, elective courses, internships, studies abroad, individual tutorials, the programme prepares you for positions in local, national and international organisations, administration, business, government, media and the cultural sector, as well as for further postgraduate studies.
