How to get to ISCTE
ISCTE-IUL is strategically located in the centre of Lisbon. It is directly served by a subway station and a number of convenient city buses that provide fast and easy access to almost everywhere in the city. There are a number of restaurants, shops and one of Lisbon's largest sports and recreational facilities. The airport is a ten-minute drive away.
The conference will take place inside building 2 of ISCTE campus at Av. das Forças Armadas, 1649-026 Lisboa, Portugal.
Subway (Metro)
- Get into the yellow line
- Get out in the Entrecampos station, either the “Jardim do Campo Grande” exit or the “Avenida das Forças Armadas” exit.
- Walk about 150m in the direction of the Entrecampos roundabout.
- Turn left at the Entrecampos roundabout to Avenida das Forças Armadas and walk some 150m more, Iscte will be on your right on the top of the avenue, before the top of the hill.
Carris buses
- Get on one of the 701 or 754 buses
- Get out on Avenida das Forças Armadas and stop on the top of the avenue
- The Iscte entrance will be 50m down on your right, before the top of the hill
Train
- Get out on the Entrecampos station on Aveninda República
- Walk about 250m in the direction of the Entrecampos roundabout
- Turn left at the Entrecampos roundabout to the Avenida das Forças Armadas and walk some 150m more, Iscte will be on your right on the top of the avenue
Car
- Go up the Avenida das Forças Armadas in the Entrecampos-Sete Rios direction
- Enter the car parking which is 100m on your right
From the airport
- Lisboa International Airport, 7 km from the city centre
- AeroBus - Lisbon Airport Shuttle (from 7.00 to 21.00 every 20 min.)
- First stop: Entrecampos roundabout
- Regular bus: Line 744 or line 783.
- By taxi: From the airport: we recommend you buy a voucher at the Lisbon’s airport at the Turismo de Lisboa counter.
