Mobile exhibition at the Campus & Free Entrance

Forum de l’Humathèque
30 June - 4 July, all day

The National Museum of the History of Immigration (Musée National de l’Histoire de l’Immigration), located in the Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris, is a multi-disciplinary cultural, scientific and educational institution. Inaugurated in 2007, the museum is entrusted with the task of creating, conserving, and presenting to the public a collection of the history and cultures of immigration.

The museum's permanent exhibition–co-curated by IC Migrations researchers such as Camille Schmoll, one of the plenary chairs at this year’s conference–presents two centuries of immigration history through 11 key dates, from several angles.

The IMISCOE annual conference participants will have the opportunity to explore the permanent collection of the Museum, co-curated by IC Migrations researchers, both in a mobile version on the Campus and with a free entrance on-site at the Museum, as well as a free guided tour in English.

The guided tour is scheduled for Friday, July 4th at 15:15 PM CEST. The number of places for the visit being limited, please register here before the 1st of July here: https://forms.gle/5RuJtfos7nvnqo6K7
