Forum de l’Humathèque
27 June - 4 July
The exhibition Preuves. De vie et de travail sans papiers is rooted in the work of one photographer - Camille Millerand - and two researchers - Stefan Le Courant and Emeline Zougbédé. Through 43 photographs, interview excerpts and captions accompanying this documentary photographic inventory, the aim is to show the lives of men and women, fragmented by work and the quest for papers. The photographs are illuminated by a decade of surveys of undocumented workers.
This exhibition is part of a research project financed by Institut Convergences Migrations, which aims to explore new forms of narrative combining photography and social sciences. This collaboration will also give rise to the publication, in 2025, of a book by éditions “d'une rive à l'autre”.
