From Centre des Colloques to Bâtiment Recherche Nord
July 3rd 20:00 – 21:00
To accompany us from the opening plenary to the Welcome drinks, a musical promenade led by the Traumpunkt brass band will take place on the Cours des Humanités, organised in collaboration with L’Atelier des Artistes en Exil.
Founded in 2017 in Paris, L'Atelier des artistes en exil (aa-e) supports artists forced to flee their countries due to conflict, persecution or attacks on freedom of expression. It welcomes artists from all disciplines (music, theater, cinema, visual arts, literature, dance, etc.) from all over the world.
Over and above practical support, l'Atelier des Artistes en Exil defends essential values: creative freedom, solidarity, cultural diversity, and the fundamental role of art in resistance and reconstruction.
Traumpunkt is a blend of free jazz, punk in exile and spoken word. Its performances draw on Lettrist theatre, the death of good taste and the exhaustion of innocence. The band features Mitya Vlasik on percussion, Oleg Eliseev on vocals and Jenya Kukoverov on guitar.
