Traditionally, migration studies have been conducted by white, male, middleclass researchers. In recent years, the increasing diversity of scholars from the Global North, as well as researchers from the Global South and other social actors and activists, is challenging the way knowledge has traditionally been constructed. Is it possible to develop new approaches that promote epistemological justice and how?
