Information regarding technical assistance for online participants

There are 3 ways in which we offer technical assistance to conference participants joining online.

First, during the week prior to the conference, we will organize a special Drop-In Session on Thursday, 25th of June 2026, between 16:00-17:00 CEST,, to allow participants joining online to test, if they wish, the Webex functionalities before the conference starts. You can join at any time during this time slot, by clicking on this link:

This session is only available to conference participants.

Second, for each online session, an online assistant will open the virtual room and provide technical guidance before the session starts, whereas for each hybrid session, there will be an on-site assistant ready to help with any technical issues that online participants could face.

Thirdly, throughout the whole duration of the conference, a special Online Support Centre will give assistance to all participants joining via Webex. You can contact this Online Support Centre in different ways, depending also on the technical issue you experience:

Scenario 1 (for log in issues): if you cannot log on to your IMISCOE profile on the conference platform OR if, after logging on, you do not see the details of your session OR you do not see the Webex link for joining the session, please contact: Marco Legemaate at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Scenario 2 (for Webex-related issues): if after having logged in into your IMISCOE profile on the conference platform AND after having found the Webex link to join your session, you experience any technical difficulties in entering the Webex room or in the use of any Webex functionality once you entered the Webex room, you can either:

  • Call our Online Support Centre: + 32 4 366 3144
  • Speak or chat directly with our Online Support Centre via Webex, at the following links:

These sessions are only available to conference participants.

* The Webex and phone lines will be open throughout the conference days between 08:50 and 18:20 Girona time (except for the first conference day on Monday, 29th of June, when the Online Support Centre will open at 08:15—Girona time—for the PhD Network activities, whereas in the last conference day on Thursday, 2nd of July, the Online Support Centre will be open until 14:30 Girona time).
