BROAD-ER International Winter School

December 1 2023

The University of Amsterdam, Koc University (Istanbul) and the University Pompeu Fabro (Barcelona) are involved in a joint research project on the nexus of urban and migration studies. The project BROAD-ER has been sponsored by the EU under the Horizon program. For more details, go to https://broad-er.eu/

Part of the program entails the training of PhD students and early post-doc researchers. In the light of that, UvA will host the BROAD-ER International Winter School 2024 entitled ‘Cities and International Migration: Methodologies, Practices, Ethics’, to be held from January 29-February 02, 2024. We have an impressive line-up of lecturers, including Prof. Suzanna Hall (LSE), Prof. Ricard Zapata (UPF), Prof Justus Uitermark (UvA), Phil Kasinitz (CUNY), Norma Schemschat (UvA), Rafik Arfaoui (UPF), and several other great scholars.

The application is open now until December 1 2023. Find out more
