The Taiwan Studies Young Scholar Award (YSA) is open to applicants who are currently enrolled on a Master’s degree or PhD programme, or who are within three years of having submitted their PhD dissertation but are not currently in a full-time lectureship.
Papers should correspond to ‘Isles and Exiles’, the theme of the 19th Annual Conference of the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS). Please see the call for papers for the 19th annual EATS conference for details on the conference theme. Applicants must currently hold a valid 2021 EATS membership when participating in this contest. EATS board members are ineligible to apply.
