Language, Power, and Social Boundaries: Dynamics of Inclusion and Exclusion Across Social Spaces

IMISCOE EduSocial & CIES-Iscte, in collaboration with Eurac Research, CESSMIR & Ghent University, are pleased to announce the launch of the Webinar Series “Language, Power, and Social Boundaries: Dynamics of Inclusion and Exclusion Across Social Spaces.”


This series aims to bring together researchers and professionals from different world regions who are developing innovative projects on language and power dynamics across diverse social spaces. In its first season, the webinar series will feature five sessions focusing on language and processes of racialization/subalternization. Further details will be shared soon.

The first event will take place on 28 January 2026, at 16:00 (Lisbon, GMT), online via Microsoft Teams. The session will be held in English.
