Following recent developments in the region, we have postponed the Annual Meth@Mig workshop. The event “Methodological Approaches in Cross-Cultural and Cross-National (Migration) Research,” originally scheduled for March 30-31, 2026, at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) in Doha, Qatar, will now take place on November 18-19, 2026, at the same venue.
We are happy to share that both keynote speakers, Anju Mary Paul (NYU Abu Dhabi) and Timothy P. Johnson (University of Illinois at Chicago), have confirmed their availability on these dates.
We would also like to reassure all accepted participants that the status of their contribution remains unchanged. All participants should have received emails with further details earlier today. The Standing Committee thanks local host Laila Omar and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies for all the work they have already invested, their flexibility, and their commitment to this event.
We look forward to holding this event and to many interesting conversations in Doha this November.
