Summer school on migration studies with focus on integration of refugees

Geographic Migration Centre – GEOMIGRACE, a research institute affiliated with the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development, Faculty of Science, Charles University, cordially invites students and young professionals to Prague, for the Summer School on Migration, which builds on previous editions organized with partners (IMISCOE, IOM, CzechAid, OSCE) since 2016. The United Nations Information Centre Prague UNIC is partner of the 2023 program.

The one-week course will be organized at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, in the heart of the capital city, Prague (Albertov 6).

Experienced and respected scholars and practitioners from various countries will take part in the Summer School while delivering lectures and/or leading seminars, workshops, panel discussions on issues closely related to migration. It will be examined from political, sociocultural, demographic, development, gender and other perspectives. This year's event will focus on the integration of persons with international (temporary) protection.
