2026 IMISCOE Annual Conference programme now available!

We are pleased to inform you that the conference programme is now available at: https://www.imiscoe.org/conference. You can access all details about the sessions once you log in with your IMISCOE account.

The programme is only accessible to registered participants for the 2026 IMISCOE Annual conference. Please note that new registrations are not possible at this stage.

The conference includes almost 300 panels and workshops distributed across 12 timeslots during the 4 conference days. The following features will help you navigate the programme:

  • Session format: the icons below indicate if the session is fully on-site (when only a house icon is displayed), fully online (when only a screen icon is displayed), or hybrid (when both the house & screen icons are displayed).
  • Participants: in the list of participants, you can see (next to the names) which colleagues will attend the conference on-site in Girona and which of them will join online. Please note that some onsite participants may also be involved in other roles in online/hybrid sessions. Next to participants’ names, you can also see the specific sessions in which they are involved.
  • The “My sessions” button shows you in one click all the sessions in which you have a specific role (chair, discussant, paper giver, workshop participant).
  • The “Favourite” option allows you to mark all sessions you wish to attend with a star, so that you can quickly find them under “My sessions”.
  • The “Search” function allows you to easily find the panels, participants, and Standing Committee sessions you wish to attend.
  • To facilitate communication, you can see the email addresses of conference participants by clicking on their names, in case you wish to exchange with them about the conference organization prior to the event.

Please note that no major changes can be made in the programme at this stage. However, we will continue updating the conference portal in the coming weeks with the following information:

  • Room allocation (for on-site participants) & links (for online participants). Please note that, for security reasons, the links will be made available closer to the event date.
  • Chairs & discussants for the few sessions for which this information is still pending.
  • Guidelines for chairs & paper givers on how to facilitate the smooth organisation of sessions.
  • Guides on how to use the videoconferencing platform for online participants & details regarding the technical assistance that we will provide during the conference days to all those attending the event online.
  • More information about the business meetings of IMISCOE Standing and Executive Committees, PhD Network events, and all conference side events.
  • The feature that will allow you to upload your papers on the Conference Portal.

Finally, to ensure good visibility during the conference, we strongly advise you to create a profile on IMISCOE’s Migration Research Hub (if you don’t have one already): https://migrationresearch.com. If you wish to share the information regarding your conference participation on social media, please also use the hashtag #IMISCOE2026.
