Under the theme "United for Human Rights and Global Equity", the conference is organised by the Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO) and the Brussels Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Migration and Minorities (BIRMM) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
 The event, which will take place from 6–9 July 2027 in Brussels and online, encourages contributions that examine how legal, political, and social frameworks shape access to human rights for migrants and their descendants, as well as how migration and racial regimes undermine, redefine or contest these rights.
