Buddy System Coffee Break - May 2026

The IMISCOE PhD Network Board is hosting monthly coffee chats - informal spaces to meet and connect with fellow PhD students in migration studies. These sessions are open, supportive conversations to share experiences, resources, and insights into navigating the PhD journey. We'll facilitate and give short inputs to get the conversation started.

Our next coffee chat is Thursday, May 21 @ 3 pm CET. We will be chatting and sharing about Making the most out of Conferences as a PhD Student. Please mark your calendars!

Subsequent coffee chats for the year are:
  • June 23 @ 3 pm CET - How to Structure a Conference Presentation
  • July 9 @ 3 pm CET - Happy Hour: Re-connecting after the Annual Conference
  • September 24 @ 3 pm CET - Introduction to IMISCOE
  • October 22 @ 3 pm CET - TBA
  • November 19 @ 3 pm CET - TBA

We hope to see you there!

Best,
PhD Network Board Connections Team
