The Advanced Research Collaborative (ARC) at the CUNY Graduate Center is pleased to announce the 2016-2017 round of our Distinguished Fellowship Program. Under this program, the Graduate Center awards Visiting Fellowships to tenured faculty within and without CUNY who are conducting research in particular areas. For 2016-2017, the Fellowship research areas are:
Inequality, Immigration, Multilingualism
Fellowships will be tenable for one or two semesters during the 2016-2017 academic year. All Distinguished Fellows are expected to be resident at the Graduate Center for the period of the award and to that end will be provided with a salary, a private office, a computer, and access to the Graduate Center’s academic infrastructure. In return, they will be expected to participate in our intellectual and academic life, which in practice will mean making regular use of the Graduate Center office provided, attending Fellowship events, giving presentations to a seminar/and or public audience, sharing work in progress with doctoral students and mentoring them in a research praxis seminar and individual sessions organized for this purpose.
Distinguished Visiting Fellowships carry NO TEACHING DUTIES.
Application opens on September 1st, 2015 and closes on October 26th, 2015. Successful applicants will be informed by January 31st, 2016.
