Call for Applications: MACIMIDE Junior Visiting Fellows, 2016 – 2017

The Maastricht Centre for Citizenship, Migration and Development (MACIMIDE) of Maastricht University invites applications for Junior Visiting Fellowships for the academic year 2016-2017. The fellows are expected to engage in collaborative work with members of MACIMIDE along one of the four research themes: Citizenship and Immigrant Integration; Cross-border Mobility; Migration and Development; and Transnational families.

In order to qualify for a MACIMIDE Junior Fellowship the applicants should be enrolled in a PhD programme and should have not been awarded a PhD degree by 31 October 2016. The duration of fellowships is between 3 and 6 months. The Centre is able to cover administrative costs related to affiliation and workplace.

The Maastricht Centre for Citizenship, Migration and Development (MACIMIDE) is the interdisciplinary research platform of Maastricht University that brings together scholars working in the fields of migration, mobility, citizenship, transnationalism, development and family life. MACIMIDE integrates and expands the interfaculty research collaboration in order to contribute to a better understanding of the dynamics and consequences of migration and mobility in European and global context.
