Master of Arts in Ethnic and Migration Studies, Linköping University

This Master´s programme at Linköping University, Campus Norrköping, relates ethnicity and migration to global economic and cultural change, as well as to systems of domination and movements of resistance.

The education is interdisciplinary, integrating the humanities and the social sciences. It is animated by a commitment to critical, innovative and useful approaches to some of the most pressing issues and urgent concerns of the contemporary world order.

Students study migration and ethnicity from political, historical, sociological, and cultural perspectives. The education gives opportunities to engage in specialised investigations of, for example, segregation, education, media, border regimes, and health issues.

The application period is now open until January 15, with the possibility for late applications until April 15. Please note that places in the program are given in the order of application arrival. Apply early for better chances for a place.

The programme is part of the vibrant research environment at the Institute for Research on Migration, Ethnicity and Society (REMESO) on Campus Norrköping, Linköping University. Norrköping is a growing university city, with an urban campus and excellent housing facilities for students.
