Happy anniversary MIM and IMER!

MIM and IMER are celebrating their tenth and twentieth anniversaries with the symposium "Contesting the Populist Challenge: Beyond 'Orbanism' and 'Trumpism' and the Normalisation of Exclusion" (16-17 November 2017). Read about the symposium here.

The university program in International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER) started at Malmö University as at the undergraduate level in 2007. Over the years the program has developed to include the master's and PhD level. Linked to this program, MIM was established ten years later as a research institute at Malmö University.
