Refugee Studies Centre’s International Online School

Applications are now open for the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford’s International Online School in Forced Migration, running 7–11 December 2026 and 21–25 June 2027.

This five-day programme combines live seminars, pre-recorded lectures, readings, and discussions led by academics, UNHCR practitioners, and experts with lived experience of displacement.

The School is designed for policymakers, practitioners, academics, researchers, lawyers, journalists, and activists working on forced migration and refugee protection. People from refugee and displaced backgrounds, including those working with refugee-led and community organisations, are especially encouraged to apply.

A limited number of bursaries are available, including fully funded places for people with lived experience of displacement.
