IMISCOE PhD Network - Joy in Academia survey

In these challenging times, social sciences researchers, particularly those at the early stages of their careers, are confronted with multiple pressures. It becomes increasingly important to pause and reflect on why we chose academia in the first place, what motivates us, and where we find sources of joy and inspiration along the way.

The IMISCOE PhD Network Board is creating a best practice guide to help early-career scholars find and nurture joy within academia. By sharing your thoughts, you will be contributing to a collective resource designed to inspire others, showcasing what helps you to experience academia as a pleasant environment and how you manage to turn downfalls into positivity.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be collected anonymously and treated with the utmost confidentiality by the IMISCOE PhD Network Board. We sincerely appreciate your time, openness, and collaboration in helping us create a resource that will support and uplift fellow researchers across our community.
