New edited volume by Pastore and Ponzo and new issue of CMS

IMISCOE is happy to announce two new publications at once:

The first one is an openly accessible edited book by Ferrucio Pastore and Irene Ponzo called 'Inter-group Relations and Migrant Integration in European Cities: Changing Neighbourhoods'.

The book offers a comparative analysis of intergroup relations at the neighbourhood level featuring a unique collection of lively portraits of relations between majority population and immigrant minorities in five European cities. It thereby presents evidence-based and practically relevant lessons for the governance of increasingly diverse and mobile European societies.

The second concerns an open issue of Comparative Migration Studies (Vol 3, 3) which includes a diverse set of articles:

Pragmatism, moral responsibility or policy change:the Syrian refugee crisis and selective humanitarianism in the Turkish refugee regime
Umut Korkut

Conceptualizing and measuring migration policy change
Hein de Haas, Katharina Natter and Simona Vezzoli

Full membership or equal rights? The link between naturalisation and integration policies for immigrants in 29 European states
Thomas Huddleston and Maarten P. Vink

Toward an improved understanding of immigrant adaptation and transnational engagement: the case of Cuban Émigrés in the United States
Zoua M. Vang and Susan E. Eckstein

A national turn of local integration policy: multi-level governance dynamics in Denmark and Sweden
Henrik Emilsson
