Book Launch event: Revisiting Migrant Networks: Migrants and their Descendants in Labour Markets

The book "Revisiting Migrant Networks: Migrants and their Descendants in Labour Markets" provides new conceptualisations on the networks of migrants and their descendants in accessing the labour market. In this 90 minutes book launch event we will briefly present an overview of the origins of the book and its innovative contribution to migration and social network research. We will then invite a panel of leading scholars in migration studies to lead a reflection upon the conceptual, methodological and theoretical contributions of the book. The discussion will then be opened to the floor for general contributions from the audience.
