I obtained my PhD in Development Studies from the University of Antwerp in 2016: "Contested connections. Mobility and migration as development experiences of translocal livelihoods in Muy Muy, Nicaragua."
I worked as a postdoctoral researcher on the 'Lost in Migration' project at Utrecht University, and am currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
