Workshop Series: Mixed Methodologies - Quantitative and/or Qualitative Research on Migration: a Matter of Ethics?

The Centre of Migration, Diaspora and Exile (MIDEX) is happy to present the third event in a workshop series on the theme of Ethical and Innovative Research in Migration Studies!

About the event

This workshop will bring together two speakers to discuss different ways to conceive and practice quantitative and qualitative methods to research and academic production. Drawing from their professional and personal experiences, they will discuss how and why they chose quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies in their research and the ethical implications behind their choices. This will be followed by a discussion session with the audience with the hope to exchange opinions, ideas, practice, experiences from different professional and personal perspectives. No previous knowledge is required, we just want to learn from each other.
